We are excited to announce Nicholas Wilson 1st exhibit here at Stir!

A little about him…

My name is Nic Wilson and in my day-to-day existence I am a Deputy Head of a school. However, outside of work, I am also a keen amateur photographer (When I have a chance!). From a young age I have always had a camera in my hands, much to the great delight of those around me! This passion has slowly developed into my adulthood.

I am a member of LFPS (Leicester Forest Photographic Society), and my work has been displayed in a number of exhibitions around the world. I am currently working hard towards a variety of national and international awards.

The photos on display are some of my favourites. Each picture tells a story, or shows a fragment of some of the things that I have witnessed from across the globe, or through my imagination. They demonstrate my love for natural light, my ability to tell a story and to maintain the simplicity of an image. In order to enhance the narrative in my pictures, I sometimes use Photoshop/digital art to help me communicate what is in my mind’s eye.

I have been told I have a certain style, but that is something that perhaps you yourself can discover.

I hope you enjoy the display.
