Stir is an independent and locally-owned coffee shop in the CB4 neighbourhood of Cambridge. It is the social hub of the community – a place for people to meet, connect, re-charge but also a place where you can escape and unwind.
We serve Assembly coffee, bread and cakes from our Bakery and a fresh, delicious and wholesome brunch in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Our Coffee
We proudly source our coffee from Assembly, an independent, award winning coffee roastery based in Brixton, London. As well as sourcing and roasting the highest quality coffee available, they are also proudly Carbon Neutral certified.
We understand that great coffee needs a lot of passion and thought given to the preparation to ensure the fantastic flavour of the beans is properly nurtured and released. This is why we employ Baristas as passionate about coffee as we are, enthusiastic and constantly furthering their training to understand and enjoy coffee to a higher level.
Our range of coffee beans are also available for retail purchase and we will happily grind them to your specific needs.
Our Food
Our menu keeps on growing! Freshly prepared with pride and passion by our team of wonderful chefs, our extensive brunch menu is served daily. with monthly seasonal specials popping up to keep you coming back for more! All of our bread is handcrafted at our Bakery and the rest comes from local suppliers where possible.
We have gluten free and vegan options. Just ask us if you have any dietary requirements and we will gladly adapt!
Our Space
We have a fantastic large flexible space, which allows us to meet the range of needs our customers will have. Whether you are coming in on your own to catch up on some emails, read the Sunday papers, or if you are in a big group with your kids straight from school or after Saturday morning rowing, we will look after you!
We are really proud of the space that we have created, both outdoor and indoors. With a large seating area, there should always be a table free with enough space to also comfortably accommodate a good few pushchairs!

The Back Room
